I have recovered from a virus up loaded to a borg cube intentionaly by species 3669. It was intended to create a chaotic breakdown of the hive connections. It was effectively written, and thus it infected the viniculm. When we reached range, it became active again trying to bring me back into the collective. Unfortunatly, as the drones likely endured, it opened my cortical implant to the minds of the millions assimilated by the borg.

I slowly lost any individuality, and personality. The crew went through a great deal to extract the other personalities from my active mind. I will be enterally grateful to Belanna Torres for finding a way around the viniculum and to Tuvok from entering my mind bringing me back from the brink of non exsistance.

This was a freightful experience that has opened my eyes as to where I belong, and how much I am valued among the crew of Voyager. I am honored to call Voyager home.

Much has ocured since my last personal entry. There has been a resolution, finally to the problems and complications that hung over from the mirrion universe (MU). The MUHarry Kim has finally returned to his reality, and Annika is in stasis and there are now 2 individuals on this ship from the Mirrion Universe.

Things around this ship are returning to normal. Finally.

My complication contacted me today. Evidently he has become quite adept with his nano probes. He used them to send me an ocular image of some improvements he made of the ship. They have been quite extensive in my absence.

We have agreed to meet on the planet, should first contact go well. He expressed a desire to assist the cause he left behind. That would mean he’s going back to the other universe. I am confident that Annika will find him and will attempt to punish him for aiding my return.

While there I encountered a belief that she would hold to her word, however, it appears that she will do so as long as it suites her. I am concerned for his safety, but admire his commitment to the goal of human equality in his universe. Once he has returned to his universe, I am confident the nanites will not connect us further. At that time, I will find myself alone again on Voyager, and in this universe. There are may things that I will have to do before I could consider a future with anyone, however to be alone in this process does not sound enjoyable.

While I was stuck in the Mirror Universe, I encountered many experiences very new to me. Among them was emotion. Often intense while I was there, I encountered the feelings of loss and pleasure differently.

With all that occurred, I believe it can be attributed to my nanite malfunction, but I am unable to process much or explain it all.

Some might have called what I experienced an emotional break through. At this time I consider it a jumbled pile of information that requires comprehension and assimilation.

Emotions, albeit less intensive, continue to linger from the encounter.

I have returned from an ordeal in the Mirror Universe. I was the reluctant guest of our former prisoner. After advising the captain that I had obtained what I needed to from him, and that we should decide what to do with and how to deal with him, I elected to send him back to his own universe. Advising the captain of this, I arranged it to appear I was setting him free. I also took security precautions to avoid his escape should he attempt to further endanger the crew. The unfortunate result is that he kidnapped me, misunderstanding our circumstances. In his mind, he was rescuing me from what would have been certain death in his universe. There were ramifications from this.

While there I encountered a doctor Zimmerman, quite different than the one in this universe. I encountered an incredible amount of physical pain while he treated a condition that developed when my nanites began to malfunction. The condition deteriorated my ability to function almost entirely. Repair was required, if I would return to Voyager.s

After a brief, and uncomfortable encounter with myself in their universe, I have returned to Voyager.

The doctor believes that submerging my nanites in the tetrion particles needed to open the rift is what caused all of the issues that occurred with me while I was there. That problem has since been resolved.

Personal Log Startdate Irrelevant

A rift between this and a mirror universe possibility has opened. The rift has developed significantly over the last three or so days. As it developed, someone from their universe transported about this Voyager. A lot has occurred because of this.

At one point I connected to a probe on the other side of the rift, and downloaded their database and their history. I used the halodeck to play back their history, and found the counterpart of myself was the leader of the other verse vessel. She ordered our attack, and the scavenging of parts for a human rebellion that is an ongoing struggle in their universe.

She is the most powerful human in their known universe, and this Anniaka Hansen struggles with very little, even her own conscience. She was trained by a race called the Cardassians to be one of the most elite assassins. From there she clawed her way, through cunning and manipulation and the death of others to her current position. The odd paradox is that she wants this position to be able to help her people. Her goals are consistent with any leader wanting her people to have the best possible future.

She has proven to be an effective conversationalist. She and I have talked many times directly through her Cardissian nuro implant and the like attached to my borg implants. The conversations are discreet, and often outwardly silent. Although she has requested that I acknowledge her out loud when she connects if we are alone. She reminds me that I am alone here, even without using the words directly to indicate it.As she speaks of her encounters, her heart breaks and her fallen loves, I realize that I myself do not understand the concept. Although her voice sounds like an echo of my own, she and I are not at all alike, and yet there is a unique connection.

I find myself wanting to connect just to listen to her. I do not, unless I initiate connection at a time that listening sliently would prove advantagous. On a couple of occasions I have heard things I did not desire to be privy to, and on one occasion she connected with me so I could hear her being pleasured. That experience was not my favorite. The fact that she has so many who understand where she is coming from, and what she wants that they wish to be around her is astounding enough. The other items work for her, not for me. For me, I realize that I want to feel connected, somehow, to some one, even if it is her.

A lot has occurred over the last few days. Just as I was learning to believe I would no longer be alone, One sacrificed his life for the ship. He was successful taking out the borg sphere. He could have been repaired, however he found himself in conflict, and chose not to continue as a beacon to the borg. It hurts me significantly, and I did not know I could feel that kind of emotional pain.

I turned myself back to work, and reviewing the stars, and have found it quite sheltering from the outside emotional distress.

Yesterday there was a transporter accident that left the doctor confined to sickbay. Although he is very unhappy, some other members of the crew are feeling a bit relieved for their privacy. I am confident that BElanna will repair his mobile emmitter, and he will be invading my privacy again soon.

The proto-nebula continues to grow and cause problems for the ship. Thus far non more than the crew can handle. Although this is a very interesting scientific development, it is nothing compared to the one growing in the science lab.

During the transporter malfunction, my borg nano probs merged with the doctors mobile halo-emitter and created a new borg. He is unlike any I’ve ever encountered, as he has been growing from infancy. I am watching him closely, and have been asked to teach him to become an individual instead of a member of the collective.
